Well, the election appears to be over

OK, the Dems won resounding victories taking control of the US House and the Senate. The margins of victory in the Montana and Virginia Senate races were razor thin, but everyone has called the elections for the Democratic challengers. I have to say, I think MoveOn.org’s Call for Change campaign made a huge difference, making over 7,00,000 calls to voters in most of the close races.
Hopefully now we will start seeing some congressional oversight, investigations, and a real examination of the myriad problems with the electronic voting systems in this country.

Nearly as important, the dissatisfaction with the Republicans (or, as I like to call them, the fascist-torture-loving-assholes) extended to the gubernatorial races as well, and 28 of the 50 Governors are non-Republican.
