Well, the long long long campaign is over. The doors have been knocked on, the voters have been rousted to get to the polls, and now we wait. And wait.
I want to be confident and hopeful, instead I am nervous, angsty, worried, and sure that something is going to go horribly wrong. After 2000 and 2004 I don’t trust the process.
So I sit starting at early returns from Indiana and try to glean tidbits of information.  I ignore NH (Obama win) and Kentucky (McSame win). Indiana should go to McCain. If it doesn’t, it should mean a huge win for Obama tonight.
Should. Could. Maybe. Argh!
OK, I think I will go to dinner. On the way home, I will buy lots-o-liquor. Then I will come home and sit in front of 5 or six ‘real-time’ maps of the US and tear my hair out for a few hours.
